From a remarkable private collection this is a rare guitar in amazing condition.
This all original Ibanez Artist AR100 solid body electric guitar was made by Ibanez in the FujiGen factory, Japan in 1980
Featuring a mahogany body with flamed maple top, gold hardware, aftermarket German schaller tuning keys, maple neck with rosewood fretboard and a hard shell case.
Condition is good for an instrument of this age. Gold hardware showing wear. There is an aftermarket gold Ruth/tree switch plate installed. There is considerable buckle rash on the back of the body. The pricing here reflects this.
This guitar appears to have been fitted with aftermarket neck pickup. we are unsure of the replacement pickup brand. The pricing here also reflects this.
The neck is straight and the setup is low and fast to play. This guitar will seriously rival and American guitar of the same era.
