This pre-loved Heritage Golden Eagle Archtop is an inspiring instrument crafted in Kalamazoo, USA by former Gibson artisans using the same materials and specifications as its Gibson cousin, the Legendary L5CES. This elegant jazz box features a solid carved spruce top, ebony fingerboard, and X-braced soundboard for added resonance. The Golden Eagle typically features “flamed” maple back and sides however this very rare version was a custom order with “burled” maple. 1 of only 6 ever made, that we are aware of.
The onboard HRW humbucking pickup faithfully amplifies its warm, woody acoustic tone.
Smooth low action and medium jumbo frets ensure a comfortable playing experience.
Condition is very good with only minor signs of wear on the finish. As always more photos and details are available on request, but we’d love you to come and visit us in the showroom and experience this beautiful instrument in person.
